KIERAN GILL: Honestly, I’d be amazed if Harry Maguire becomes a West Ham player.

As far as I’m aware, there’s no deal happening here. I was told it never got as far as David Moyes and Maguire even speaking when Manchester United accepted West Ham’s £30million offer earlier this month.

Moyes is obviously a fan, hence the bid, but Maguire’s dawdling saw the club turn to Konstantinos Mavropanos instead.

KIERAN GILL: Yep, definitely. West Ham’s top priority is to sign a forward and that is why their technical director Tim Steidten is in Brazil as we speak. He’s flown out there to speak to Corinthians about their striker Yuri Alberto, a 22-year-old Brazilian international.

Despite reports in Brazil suggesting the deal is dead, that’s not what I’ve been told. West Ham are trying to agree a final fee with Corinthians now. Steidten, as much as he loves being pictured on private jets, would not have flown all the way out there if he was not confident this transfer could be completed.

Initial talks over a loan with an option to buy now seem to have transformed into negotiations over a permanent deal. This could have a domino effect on West Ham – if they get in a forward, Michail Antonio could be allowed to leave amid interest from Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia.

Mohamed Salah IS likely to leave Liverpool this week as Saudi club Al-Ittihad prepare a huge offer, claims ex-Premier League star Jan Aage Fjortoft

While Kieran mulls over your questions this will be a big talking point later when we speak to our Merseyside reporter Lewis Steele.

Bayern Munich star Ryan Gravenberch hopes a transfer to Liverpool OR Man United will go through before Friday’s deadline

SIMON JONES: Bayern Munich have turned to Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha as they look to strengthen further before the deadline.

With Ryan Gravenberch hoping for a move to either Liverpool or Manchester United to go through, Thomas Tuchel wants to ensure he has enough dynamic options for his own midfield.
