Harry Kane reportedly has a special clause in his Bayern Munich contract that could see him earn an extra windfall on top of his wages.

The England captain has enjoyed a stellar start to life in Germany since his £86.4million summer move from Tottenham.

Kane has netted a remarkable 21 goals in just 16 appearances in all competitions, including eight in his past three Bundesliga games.

The 30-year-old has also added seven assists, while his 21 strikes have encompassed three separate hat-tricks.

And, according to German outlet BILD, Kane is set to receive a bonus if he reaches a certain number of goal involvements this season.

The report claims if Kane achieves more than 40 ‘scorer points’ this season – which means his combined goals and assists – he is due a further bonus payment of €250,000 (£217,541).

Given Kane already has 21 goals and seven assists, he is therefore currently on 28 goal involvements, meaning across the rest of the campaign England’s all-time record goalscorer requires just 13 more goals or assists to achieve the clause in his contract.

Kane – who is reportedly on £400,000-per-week at Bayern – has helped Thomas Tuchel’s side start the season in fine form.

Although they are not currently top of the Bundesliga despite winning the competition for the past 11 seasons, they remain unbeaten.

If Kane reaches a combined more than 40 goal and assists, he will be paid a £217,541 bonus

The England captain has already developed into a talisman for Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel

The German giants sit two points behind early season surprise package Bayer Leverkusen.

Kane – whose move to Bayern came as part of his desire to win trophies in his career – has also netted four times in four Champions League appearances, with Tuchel’s side already qualifying for the knockout stages after winning all four of their group games so far.

Earlier this week, he reported for England duty where Gareth Southgate’s side will face Malta and North Macedonia over the next week as they aim to finish Euro 2024 qualifying with an unbeaten record.
