Jadon Sancho ‘given Turkish escape route’ as Man Utd nightmare looks set to end
Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has reportedly been offered a career lifeline ahead of the upcoming January transfer window.
Despite having signed the England international back in 2021, bringing him to Old Trafford for £73million from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund, Sancho's time at Man United looks to be over after having fallen out with manager Erik ten Hag. A public spat between the two unfolded after United's 3-1 September defeat to Arsenal, with Ten Hag criticising Sancho's performances in training, leading to him leaving him out of his match day squad.
Sancho then fired back on social media with a statement of his own, writing: "I have conducted myself in training very well this week." He then also added he had been scapegoated by his manager, and has refused to apologise.

The impasse between Ten Hag and Sancho means that the latter's time at Old Trafford looks to be up, with United resigned to selling the winger at a cut-rate price in January. And according to Sky Sports, Turkish Super Lig clubs have now thrown their hat into the ring for his signature.
Clubs across Europe from Serie A, the Bundesliga and the Turkish Super Lig are all said to be keen on taking Sancho on-loan in January. While a return to Dortmund for the 23-year-old has been mooted, it is understood that they are not currently actively seeking to bring Sancho back to Germany.

However, it has also been claimed that their interest could shift immediately if the numbers to bring Sancho back made sense. Given the outlay they spent on him, and with the ownership takeover saga still up in the air at Old Trafford, United would probably rather sell Sancho and recoup some of the huge transfer fee they paid for him.
But, Sancho's stock since returning to England has fallen considerably, with his performances for United leaving much to be desired.
