Haaland invites Man City team-mates over for group sauna to ‘burn rivals’
Manchester City star Erling Haaland is promising to turn up the heat on his team-mates – by inviting them to regular saunas.
The Norwegian hitman, 23, has so far scored seven goals in five games this season, and has told his City pals they can join him for a sauna every day if they want to keep burning their rivals.
The Scandinavians’ love of a good sauna is well-known. Haaland’s luxury home is kitted out with one, in a leisure suite which also includes a steam room and small plunge pool.

A City insider revealed: “It’s well-known Erling takes extremely good care of his body – he actually grew in size again this summer – his diet, his sleep, nothing is ever left to chance.
“He loves to have a sauna and a steam at least once a day and tells the lads they are welcome to come on over and join him. He has told them it helps to clear his mind and also clears his body of all the bad toxins that may build up, so it helps to avoid picking up injuries also.
“The City lads do use the cryogenic chamber at the training ground but most of them can only stand a few seconds in the extreme cold. Erling says they just need to chill with him instead at 90C and put on some tunes.”
We have previously revealed how the Norwegian attacker eats cow hearts and liver, and even wears special glasses to bed to avoid blue light. And while a doner pizza kebab is his favourite cheat meal, he is at his happiest sat in the scorching heat of his sauna.

The source joked: “Now if Erling could eat his kebab in the sauna, he would probably never come out to play football. It’s his idea of Heaven!”
Haaland was in dream land on Saturday too as he headed home another goal in City's 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest at the Etihad to maintain their 100% record in the opening six games of the new Premier League season.
