The former manager of Michael Schumacher admitted that he no longer has "hope" of ever seeing the Formula One icon again.
Willi Weber, 81, was the long-term manager of the seven-time F1 champion having scouted him as a teenager and worked for him throughout his racing career all the way to his retirement from the sport in 2012.
Despite the long-standing relationship between the pair, Weber claims that he's been shut out of Schumacher's life since he suffered a severe brain injury in a skiing accident in 2013.

The life of the German legend, 54, has been closely guarded by his family, led by wife Corinna as information regarding Schumacher's condition has rarely been released.
The 10-year anniversary of Schumacher's accident is on December 29 as Weber admits he believes he'll never see him again after receiving "no positive news" about him for a decade.

He told the Cologne Express: "When I think of Michael now, unfortunately I don't have anymore hope that I will see him again. No positive news after 10 years."
Having not visited him in hospital after his accident, Weber opened up on the grieving he went through. "Of course, I regret that very much and blame myself. I should have visited Michael in the hospital. I mourned like a dog after his accident."
Weber stunned the F1 world back in 2017 when he accused Schumacher's family of not being wholly honest to the public about the racing legend's condition. He stunningly said: "I find it very unfortunate that Michael's fans do not know about his health. Why are they not being told the truth?"

In 2022, he took aim at Schumacher's family and friends for failing to keep him in the loop of his condition. He told Italian sports publication La Gazetta dello Sport: "I tried hundreds of times to contact Corinna and she didn’t answer.
"I called Jean Todt to ask him if I should go to the hospital and he told me to wait – it’s too early. They kept me out, telling me it’s too early, well now it’s too late. It’s been nine years. Maybe they should just say it the way it is."
