Charged down and failed to make attack tick.<\/p>\n<p><span>Alex Mitchell &#8211; 4<\/span>: Kicked away a lot of possession and failed to inject the tempo to break up Japan\u2019s defensive structure. Difficult to dominate scrum on churned-up turf.<\/p>\n<p><span>Maro Itoje &#8211; 5<\/span>: Lurked around breakdowns like a praying mantis but struggled to win turnovers to disrupt Japan\u2019s flow. Massive drop in intensity.<\/p>\n<p><span>Ollie Chessum &#8211; 6<\/span>: Working with George Kruis on the line-out throughout the week.
