Brady’s recent minority investment into Birmingham City FC has saw him experience all the highs and lows of a different kind of football – especially on Saturday afternoon.
The Blues were deadlocked with Plymouth Argyle at 1-1 going into stoppage time, when a goal from Jay Stansfield in the final added minute gave Birmingham City a win.
Brady tweeted out a GIF of his celebration – a clip of Will Ferrell from the movie Talladega Nights, which said ‘I don’t know what to do with my hands’. On Instagram, he posted the final score to his story with the caption, ‘We love extra time!’
The seven-time Super Bowl champion became chairman of the club’s new advisory board as a part of his minority stake through Knighthead Capital Management.

They’ve won three of their first four games – drawing the other – to sit in a four-way tie in the Championship table on ten points.
Birmingham City sit third due to goal difference, as they’re three goals behind second place Norwich City.
The Blues are hoping to win promotion to the Premier League this season – a competition they haven’t played in since the 2010-11 season.
