Three clubs ‘agree loan terms’ for Van de Beek as Man Utd star begs for move

Donny van de Beek looks set to end his Manchester United nightmare with three clubs in the running to take the out-of-favour star on loan.

The Dutch international has become a complete outcast at Old Trafford and is desperate for Ralf Rangnick to allow him to leave the club.

He's so desperate to move that he's even changed his agent to try and boost his chances of finding a new club during the January window.

Some reports claim Van de Beek has begged United to let him depart this month. And with only a few days remaining of the transfer window, it looks as though he might get his wish after all.

Three clubs are understood to have submitted loan bids for the Dutchman.

Crystal Palace, another Premier League club and an unnamed overseas team are all said to have agreed provisional terms over a move.

It is now down to the players over which club he chooses to join.

Any club that signs Van de Beek would have to cover his enormous weekly wage of £120,000-a-week in full and could be forced to pay a loan fee.

United recently demanded Newcastle pay a loan fee of £2.5million for Jesse Lingard, an arrangement the Magpies baulked at.

It is understood Newcastle and Borussia Dortmund were both offered Van de Beek by his new agent, Ali Dursun, earlier in January.

But Van de Beek's girlfriend Estelle, with whom he is expecting a child this year, is the daughter of Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp, who remains in close contact with Palace boss Patrick Vieira.

Bergkamp reportedly triggered talks between United and the Eagles earlier this week.

Van de Beek has not started a Premier League game since May and has been restricted to just 68 minutes in the top-flight so far this term.

The 24-year-old wants to leave to get regular playing time in an attempt to force his way back into the Netherlands squad ahead of the World Cup.

"I also had a long conversation with him last week about that and again, of course it is difficult for him right now because he also wants to play for the Dutch national team, he wants to qualify for himself and play in the World Cup in Qatar," revealed United boss Ralf Rangnick at the start of the month.
