Creepy Spanish FA president Luis Rubiales is set to resign following his unsolicited kiss on Women's World Cup star Jenni Hermoso, according to reports.
Rubiales was seen grabbing Hermoso by the head and pulling her in for a kiss on the lips as she and her Spain team-mates collected their winning medals after beating England in Sunday's (August 20) final.
The stomach-turning moment quickly began circulating online and he faced increasingly backlash. In an apology, Rubiales admitted he'd been "completely wrong".
But after a FIFA investigation was launched earlier today (August 24), Cadena SER claim he'll be announcing his resignation on Friday.

Rubiales was also heavily criticised after footage emerged of him grabbing his crotch in an obscene gesture while stood next to Queen Letizia and her 16-year-old daughter Sofia.
And it's not the first time he's been at the centre of a controversy – last year having to deny claims he'd used the FA's money to host orgies.
His kiss led Hermoso to admit post-match: "Eh…yeah, I did not enjoy that." Rubiales responded with a statement 24 hours later in which he said: "I was completely wrong, I have to admit it.
"It was without bad intention at a time with a lot of excitement. In the moment, we saw it as natural, but outside a commotion has formed. I have to apologise, learn from this, and understand that when you are president you have to be more careful."
But that didn't cut it for the 33-year-old striker, who issued a statement of her own on Thursday. It read: “My union, in coordination with my agency, are taking care of defending my interests and have taken over as my interlocutors on this matter.
“We are working to ensure that acts such as those we have seen never go unpunished, that they are sanctioned and that the exemplary measures are adopted to protect women footballers from actions that we believe are unacceptable.”
And FIFA followed that up by announcing: "The FIFA Disciplinary Committee informed Luis Rubiales, President of the Spanish Football Association, today that it is opening disciplinary proceedings against him based on the events that occurred during the final of the FIFA Women’s World Cup’ on 20 August 2023.
"The events may constitute violations of article 13 paragraphs 1 and 2 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code. The FIFA Disciplinary Committee will only provide further information on these disciplinary proceedings once it has issued a final decision on the matter.
"FIFA reiterates its unwavering commitment to respecting the integrity of all individuals and strongly condemns any behaviour to the contrary."
