Roy Keane has jokingly labelled Theo Walcott as ‘naive and young’ after the former Arsenal star claimed his former side are currently a ‘bigger club’ than Manchester United.
Walcott, who recently announced his retirement from football, joined Sky Sports for their coverage of Arsenal’s crunch home tie against Man United.
Ahead of the meeting of the two rivals, fellow pundit Micah Richards asked Walcott for his opinion about which of the two sides are currently the biggest club.
Walcott, who played for Arsenal between 2006 to 2018, pointed to the Gunners finishing as runners-up in the Premier League last season behind Man City.
‘Arsenal finished above United so for me, right now, you would have to say them,’ Walcott said.

‘I think for me they are a club that are a bit more organised.’
Former Man United captain Keane quickly interjected ‘so naive and young, so naive and young, you’ll learn’ to the 34-year-old.
Walcott, attempting to ignore Keane’s teasing, adding ‘If you are talking overall, United have definitely topped that.’
Following Walcott’s answer, Richards quickly asked the same question to Keane with the 52-year-old producing a typically deadpan response.
‘Of course it’s United, don’t be silly,’ Keane said.
The comments came ahead of one of the Premier League’s most anticipated fixtures due to the fierce rivalry between United and the Gunners.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side are seeking a third win in their opening four matches as they bid to keep pace at the top of the table.
Visitors Man United could leapfrog the Gunners should they triumph at the Emirates, after two wins and one defeat so far this season.
