Rangers condemn fans over flag with Nazi symbol displayed at Saturday’s match against Aberdeen… with Scottish club launching probe after vile banner was unveiled during Ibrox Armed Forces Day

Rangers have condemned fans for displaying an ‘unacceptable’ flag with a Nazi symbol at Ibrox on Saturday.
The Scottish club have also launched an investigation after the banner was hung over a railing in the stadium during the league game against Aberdeen.
It appears to depict a Totenkopf, ‘death’s head’ in German, the skull and crossbones symbol associated with an elite division of the SS.
The flag also reads: ‘Rangers active unit 936 The Firm.’
The vile flag was flown as Rangers fans welcomed 150 serving members of the Army, RAF and Royal Navy to celebrate Armed Forces Day.

The Scottish club have slammed the banner and launched an investigation
A spokesperson for Rangers said: ‘Clearly, this flag is absolutely unacceptable and the club condemns the displaying of it within our stadium in the strongest possible terms.
‘The club can confirm an investigation is now underway.’
Rangers were beaten 3-1 defeat, piling the pressure on under-fire boss Michael Beale to be axed.
The defeat leaves them in third spot in the table, seven points behind leaders Celtic.
