PSG owners want to get rid of Neymar after he was branded ‘clown’
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly fed up with Neymar and are looking for ways to get rid of the Brazilian.
Neymar featured in PSG’s calamitous Champions League tie on Wednesday where the French giants were knocked out in stunning fashion by Real Madrid.
The forward’s impact on the game was minimal as Karim Benzema’s incredible hat-trick nullified Kylian Mbappe’s goals over two last-16 legs to secure Los Blancos a 3-2 comeback win on aggregate.
And with Neymar facing heavy scrutiny despite teeing up Mbappe for his goal, journalist Romain Molina claims PSG have now decided to “get rid” of the 30-year-old.
PSG suffered a huge meltdown at the Santiago Bernabeu, initially sparked by Gianluigi Donnarumma’s mistake at the back, which Vinicius Jr pounced on to assist Benzema's first.
Captain Benzema then produced stunning scenes by scoring two strikes within a minute of each other to send PSG crashing out of the competition.
Neymar was unable to deliver PSG’s elusive Champions League trophy once again, with journalist Daniel Riolo among those to deliver a scathing attack on the Brazilian superstar.
Riolo said: "Sport at the highest level is about humility and mental strength. PSG prepare by going to Fashion Week & on TikTok.

"Neymar is a clown. Neymar needs to be fired. He is no longer a footballer. He should go to fashion week instead.
"In July there are the world poker championships, I will take him with me, that’s what he is good for."
Neymar has scored 91 goals for PSG since his arrival from Barcelona for a world record fee of £198million, but has made just 83 league appearances in five years.
His contribution has lessened even more this season, having scored a measly four goals in 19 games.
And despite Mbappe previously being the more likely player to be sold in the summer, it appears the PSG hierarchy are willing to lose Neymar as well as their talisman.
