Chelsea have silenced any doubters with a resounding win on Friday evening over newly-promoted Luton Town.
Raheem Sterling was the man of the moment for Mauricio Pochettino's side – and he looked back to his very best for the Blues. The Englishman struggled last season, but he started to show glimpses of his Manchester City days over the first two games.
However, Friday night was Sterling's true coming out party for the Blues. Chelsea's opening goal was Sterling at his best, as he ducked and dived through the Hatters defence before curling the ball past an outstretched Thomas Kaminski.
Social media erupted, as did Stamford Bridge, as fans compared their new hero to Lionel Messi.

Chelsea looked more and more dangerous, as did Sterling – who had Stamford Bridge in the palm of his hand.
And while Chelsea fans watched in awe at their new hero, Luton defenders will seemingly be seeing Sterling their nightmares, and shortly after the break, he had his second.

Sterling's second was more routine, the star played the ball out wide to Gusto – who cut it back to Sterling.
There had been murmurs of a potential Luton comeback, with the Hatters going close a couple of times. But Sterling's brace put down any hopes of a comeback, from then on, it was all Chelsea.
Sterling was at the heart of Chelsea's third, and he bombed down the wing before squaring the ball to Nicolas Jackson – who netted his first Premier League goal.
Chelsea have their first three points of the season – and fans have a lot to be excited about following Friday nights performance.
Meanwhile, Luton will now look to next Friday's clash with West Ham as their only opportunity to get some points on the board before the first international break of the season.
