Mbappe scores phenomenal solo goal to leave fans swooning over incredible pace

French football fans had to pick their jaws up off the floor as Kylian Mbappe demonstrated his pace when scoring a fabulous solo effort.

France squared off with Finland during their final World Cup qualifying match in Helsinki on Tuesday evening.

And the Frenchman reminded football fans why he is the future as he skipped past the Finnish defence before unleashing his blistering pace into the open field.

The PSG superstar then curled the ball into the far corner to double France's lead on the evening.

And football fans were quick to react to the solo strike on social media.

"Dude goes from midfield to the top of the 18 with two touches, and finishes with his third. Cheat code," one fan tweeted.

Another added: "If I was Finland, I wouldn’t even be mad lmaoo. You can’t stop that man. You can’t."

"Some people questioned if he is a generational player," a third tweeted.

And a fourth added: "That speed is nuts man I wish Poch would play him on the wing."
