Man Utd could be without Alex Telles until late-November as Brazil sweat
Manchester United could reportedly be without Alex Telles for up to a month after the summer signing tested positive for Covid-19.
Telles missed United’s Champions League thrashing of RB Leipzig earlier this week with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirming his diagnosis.
The left-back also missed the Premier League clash with Chelsea last weekend having signed from Porto in the summer.
"Telles has tested positive for coronavirus so he's been out for a few days," Solskjaer had said. "No symptoms though, so he'll be fine. Back soon."
Details of when Telles tested positive and began his quarantine are unclear though UOL claim that Brazil’s national team are concerned.
It’s reported that Brazil are monitoring the situation with the South American giants due to play again on November 13 and 17.
Super Esportes add that it’s possible that Telles misses both games, meaning that he may not return for United before then.
And, with the international break to happen, the summer signing may not feature for Manchester United again until the back-end of November.
Man Utd to offer AC Milan ace Calhanoglu five-year deal as Red Devils eye free transfer
United return to action on Sunday as they host fellow Premier League giants Arsenal at Old Trafford.
On team news for that, Solskjaer added: "Alex won't be ready, no. So apart from that I would think everyone else looks like they could be involved.
"Sergio [Romero] has just come back into training this week, so he's started his pre-season work and is working to get to his peak fitness with the goalkeepers.

“That was a natural thing: when you're injured you can't get into the squad, he's working really diligently so will be coming back soon."
