LaLiga clubs Mallorca and Sevilla have reportedly made enquiries about Arsenal defender Rob Holding.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the centre-back is expected to leave the Gunners before the closure of the transfer window.

Holding has fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal and hasn’t been included in the matchday squad for any of the club’s three Premier League games so far this season.

He has a year remaining on his current contract, although Arsenal have the option to extend it by a further year.

Arsenal rejected a £2million offer from Besiktas for Holding last month.

The arrival of Jakub Kiwior in January has made it even more difficult for Holding to get playing time at Arsenal.

Last season Holding made just 14 Premier League appearances, with only six of those being starts.

Since joining from Bolton Wanderers in 2016, Holding has played 162 times for the Gunners.

Arsenal are looking to move on several other players before the transfer window closes, with Nicolas Pepe, Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga amongst those that could depart.
