Maguire shows type of Man Utd captain he is with Old Trafford visit

Harry Maguire is showing great character as captain of Manchester United , even putting in the work off the field.

United are unbeaten in their last eight games in all competitions keeping clean sheets in six of those fixtures.

The England defender joined from Leicester in the summer for £80million and is showing exactly why United paid so much for his services.

Despite being relatively new to the club, his impact and maturity led Maguire to being named United captain after Ashley Young left for Inter Milan.

He has since thrived on and off the pitch.

And a recent trip to Old Trafford shows just how seriously Maguire is taking his role.

According to The Times , 'Maguire went round departments at Old Trafford yesterday afternoon, meeting staff, learning about their jobs and talking about the team’s determination to deliver'.

Solskjaer targeted players in the summer who showed the right personality and work ethic. It appears he hit the nail on the head with Maguire.
