Harry Maguire and Andre Onana were the unexpected stars of the show as Manchester United sealed a crucial win over FC Copenhagen in the Champions League.
Maguire netted the winner while Onana pulled off a last-minute penalty save to secure all three points for Erik ten Hag's side in fairytale fashion. The duo have taken it in the neck from fans all season, but silenced the doubters on a night when emotions were running high following the death of United legend Sir Bobby Charlton.
Maguire steered home a header from a Christian Eriksen cross to break the deadlock with 20 minutes to go, sending fans inside Old Trafford wild, while Onana, who made mistakes in United's opening two Champions League ties, made amends with a dramatic spot-kick save in the eighth minute of second half stoppage time.

Their heroics secured a desperately-needed win for the Red Devils, who started the night bottom of Group A with zero points following defeats to Bayern Munich and Galatasaray. The result also means United have now won three games on the trot for the first time this season, which could be a real mood-changer for the club, particularly with the imminent arrival of Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
Speaking to TNT Sports after the game, Maguire said: "Incredible. We have got to be more clinical, we had numerous counter-attacks and we didn't give them a chance in the second-half. The first-half was really poor, it was not perfect but an important win. This man [Andre Onana] stepped up and it was a massive save."

When asked if the win was dedicated to Sir Bobby Charlton, the defender replied: "Definitely, it was meant to be. We were meant to win the game, a magnificent save and a win dedicated to Sir Bobby and his family.
"It has been a tough week for us away at Sheffield United and losing someone like Sir Bobby, it affects the cub and the dressing room. But really pleased we could get the win tonight."

Fans were singing Maguire's name after the final whistle, something the England star admitted was "amazing". He said: "When you are not on your game it gets picked up, but I am really proud and pleased how I have acted over this six to 12 months. I have been given an opportunity and I want to help the team and get the club back to where it should be."
