Jurgen Klopp receives apology after Liverpool boss slams press conference room
A senior member of Toulouse apologised to Jurgen Klopp after the Liverpool manager ranted about the French club's press room.
Klopp was not a happy man after his side were beaten 3-2 by the Ligue 1 side in the Europa League. He was also furious when a last-minute equaliser from Liverpool youngster Jarrell Quansah was disallowed by VAR after Diogo Jota was adjudged to have handled the ball in the build-up.
As the ex-Borussia Dortmund manager was still simmering in fury, he had to carry out his post-match press conference to a loud backdrop of singing Toulouse supporters in the background. After this awkward but mildly amusing exchange, Klopp received a message from the Toulouse board.

After Klopp was asked his first question, he replied: "We were as organised as this press conference, pretty chaotic. Who had the idea to do the press conference here? Wow."
When asked about the awkward moment, Toulouse general director Olivier Jauber told RMC: "I immediately made contact with the general secretary of Liverpool.

"We wrote a letter of apology to the club. It turns out that UEFA judged that the stadium had a press room that was too small for this meeting.
"There was a request to install a marquee to host press conferences, such as for the Rugby World Cup. This marquee is obviously outside the enclosure, right next to it, in a completely protected location. But, inevitably, there was the crowd singing."

Klopp's mood would have been significantly improved by his team's comfortable 3-0 home victory over Brentford. A brace from Mohamed Salah and a second half goal from Diogo Jota secured a comfortable win over Thomas Frank's side.
They go into the international break in second position, only one point behind Premier League leaders Manchester City.
