Hearts 1-2 PAOK Salonika: Andrija Zivkovic scores late stunner in Europa Conference League play-off, leaving Frankie McAvoy’s side with a mountain to climb in the second leg

Hearts were beaten 2-1 by Greek side PAOK Salonika in the first leg of their Europa Conference League play-off tie on Thursday.

Both sides scored penalties in the opening minutes and it looked for much of the game as though Frankie McAvoy’s side would go into the second leg level.

It wasn’t to be, though, as Andrija Zivkovic scored a stunner in the 75th minute to give PAOK an important advantage.
