Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under increasing pressure at Manchester United, but the Glazer family are reportedly ‘not sure’ on who they would replace the Norwegian with, as ‘nothing they have tried has worked so far’.
It has been claimed that the Glazer family are ‘not sure’ who is the right manager for the job at Manchester United, following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s poor run of form.
Solskjaer is under major pressure at United as his side have lost four out of their last seven games in all competitions, and they face a gruelling run of games heading into November.
United could be out of the title race if they don’t quickly pick up their form, and Solskjaer could be sacked if their awful run continues, but there is a lack of clarity over who would replace the Norwegian.
Zinedine Zidane and Antonio Conte are two of the highest profile managers currently without a club, but it’s been claimed that the Glazers are ‘not sure’ about who is the right replacement.

United haven’t been the same since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club in 2013, and many have tried and failed to restore the Red Devils’ former glory.
There’s no denying that Solskjaer has improved United since his appointment, but the Norwegian is still yet to lead his side to silverware and despite boasting a star-studded squad, success is yet to follow.
Lack of success and United’s recent collapse has landed Solskjaer in hot water, and fellow Norwegian Jan Aage Fjortoft has told ESPN FC Extra Time that the Glazers are ‘not sure’ what to do, in a detailed breakdown.
Fjortoft said: “What have they done before? They’ve tried everything.

“A copy of Sir Alex Ferguson [David Moyes], a guy from the outside who is mad Van Gaal, then a born winner Mourinho that didn’t work out, then they wanted one from the philosophy of Sir Alex Ferguson, where are they going now?
“There is no chance that they will go from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to Conte, how is that alike?
“Will they go for Zinedine Zidane who is perhaps a bit like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer? He’s won a lot of Champions League’s, I’m not taking that away from him.
“I think this is one of the main things why they keep him because they’re not sure about the replacement either.”
United are without a league title since Ferguson’s last Premier League season, and the club haven’t won a single trophy since Jose Mourinho won the Europa League in 2017.
Solskjaer went close last season, as they lost the Europa League final on penalties to Villarreal, but his side appear to be struggling in the league despite having one of the best squads on paper.
Of course, it’s an almost impossible task to live up to the incredible record of Ferguson, whois perhaps the greatest manager of all time, but time is running out for Solskjaer, who himself has admitted there can be “no excuses”.
The Glazer’s very rarely sack a manager mid-season, so it’ll be fascinating to see how the situation is managed should Solskjaer’s poor run continue.
