Fred Sirieix revealed that a French Premier League footballer had sex in his restaurant. 

The 51-year-old, currently a participant on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, is not just a jungle campmate as the Frenchman is renowned for his role as a maître d’hôtel.

Notably recognised for his appearances on Channel 4’s First Dates, at 51, he brings a wealth of experience from working in prestigious restaurants in the France and UK restaurant and hotel scene.

In recent episodes, Sirieix has taken on the role of camp chef, cooking for fellow jungle comrades Nella Rose, Nigel Farage, Jamie Lynn Spears, and Marvin Humes.  With the Frenchman appearing on the hit ITV show, it could be an opportunity for Sirieix to reveal more about a provocative incident he wrote about in his book. 

According to The Mirror, the French maître d’hôtel once witnessed a well-known Premier League footballer going off to the loo with a female companion, before emerging fifteen minutes later.

In his book, Secret Service: Lifting the Lid, he wrote: ‘I’ve had my own brushes with amorous guests. One evening a very well-known footballer came for dinner with a companion. 

‘He was a Frenchman like me, and a star in the Premier League. Halfway through the meal, he and his companion left the table and went to the loo. 

‘Actually, they went to the same loo – the Ladies – and then into the same cubicle. They returned about 15 minutes later and finished their meal. They had certainly worked up a healthy appetite’ he joked. 

Sirieix, 51, continued: ‘Funnily enough the footballer had such a fabulous meal that he returned a couple of weeks later. 

‘This time he came through the doorway with his wife. She walked in first, he was behind her, and he looked at me. He raised his two index fingers to his mouth, pleading for a big shush.’ 

The Frenchman’s revelation has got fans hoping that the identity of the Premier League star will be revealed during his time in the jungle.
