Erik ten Hag leapt to the defence of his agent Kees Vos as the problems continue to mount for the beleaguered Manchester United boss.
Ten Hag has spent most of this season attempting to put out the fires raging inside and outside of Old Trafford. These include the controversies surrounding Mason Greenwood, Jadon Sancho and Antony, while the saga of the Glazers' ownership continues in the background.
United have lost their last three games, suffered injuries to big name stars and face allegations of dressing room unrest. And now Ten Hag has been forced to deny claims his agent, Vos, has too much influence at the club.

Staff have expressed concerns about the growing involvement Vos has in transfer activity involving United.
Vos's 'Sports Entertainment Group' have become the go-to agency in negotiating player signings and sales for United – as well as providing informal advice on the transfer market.
It has also emerged Ten Hag's son, Nigel, also works for the agency, highlighting he close relationship between United and SEG.
United spent £178m on new signings in the summer and Vos was a regular visitor to Old Trafford and the Carrington training ground.

SEG were involved in the signings of Rasmus Hojlund and Sofyan Amrabat, as well as the sale of Zidane Iqbal to Utrecht.
Ten Hag has been criticised in the past for only signing players he has previously worked with.
But when asked if the relationship between United and his agent appeared unhealthy, the Dutchman said: "It can't be, because we make very good agreements about it from the start. How we cooperate in that manner, for player decisions, transfers, it's always 50-50.
"We both have a veto, the club, represented by John Murtough (director of football), and me. So there can never be a distraction."

Distractions are all around Ten Hag right now, ahead of a trip to Burnley where another defeat would be unthinkable. Ten Hag refused to discuss the sale of the club and was reluctant to talk about the on-going issues with Sancho, who has been suspended and is training on his own away from the squad.
Ten Hag confirmed Sancho was still not being considered for selection – and was desperate to steer the narrative towards his must-win game at Turf Moor.
Ten Hag, who is expected to welcome back Raphael Varane and Mason Mount to the squad, added: "I've already explained the reasons. There are no excuses. He (Sancho) is not training with the team.
"I think let's focus on Burnley. We have said everything about it, don’t you think?"
