Mason Mount has been at the centre of a sensational report as the Chelsea star could leave the club due to being reportedly happy with his treatment. However, although it would be a huge blow to Thomas Tuchel, they would have replacements.
Mason Mount has been linked with a sensational transfer to Liverpool after reports suggest he is becoming growingly frustrated about his role at Chelsea.
Mount has been a perfect example of how the academy can be used to bring stars into the first team, but the midfielder reportedly feels as though due to that tag, he isn’t treated the same as some of the big money signings that have been brought to the club.
Mount has had a mixed start to the new Premier League season despite Thomas Tuchel’s side topping the table, and a source close to the player has tipped the England international to complete a transfer to Liverpool if he decides to leave Chelsea.
However, should such an incredible deal occur, Chelsea will have two ready-made replacements waiting.

Mount, who has been capped 26 times by England, has previously spoken highly of Jurgen Klopp’s side and has admitted to watching them lift the Premier League title in 2020.
Despite lifting the Champions League with Chelsea, a source told the Daily Star: “Mason is a top lad and thought of well within Chelsea – and is popular with the team. But he isn’t feeling appreciated anymore.
“He is torn because he loves the club and the fans, but thinks it’s time for him to leave to step up his career. And where better to do that than Liverpool?”
Although losing Mount would be a huge blow to Tuchel, both Billy Gilmour and Conor Gallagher are both yet to return from loan, and are desperate for their chance.

Gilmour featured on a number of occasions for Chelsea last season, and the midfielder has been a regular for Scotland on international duty.
The star has impressed and his maturity at such a young age has excited Chelsea fans due to his exceptional potential that could be reached at the club.
Gilmour was loaned to Norwich this season and is playing regular Premier League football, and Gallagher was also loaned to a top-flight outfit, and has been one of the league’s best midfielder’s this season at Crystal Palace.
Gallagher produced a stunning man of the match performance as Palace beat Manchester City 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium, and the on loan midfielder is desperate for his opportunity amongst the Chelsea squad.
Although Chelsea is stacked full of midfield talent, it appears as though the 21-year-old is keen to break into Tuchel’s plans once his loan spell at Palace concludes.
Gallagher’s intentions have been made clear by Steve Sidwell, who told the JOE YouTube channel: “The mindset on him is incredible.
“Rio [Ferdinand] told me that he did an interview with him not long ago, and he said, ‘when you speak about me on TV, make sure that you state I want to go back to Chelsea’.
“He has supported Chelsea all his life, he is Chelsea through and through which makes the connection with the fans brilliant.”
Many of Chelsea’s young stars are now breaking through into the first team, with Reece James, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Trevoh Chalobah also making names for themselves.
With only 11 spaces to fill at any given time, it’s inevitable that some stars will seek a future elsewhere, but Chelsea will be keen not to let Mount leave anytime soon.
