Brentford have asked about West Ham target Hugo Ekitike at Paris St Germain and Marseille midfielder Azzedine Ounahi.
The Bees are in the market for a forward as they look to add to their attacking ranks before Friday’s transfer deadline.
Ekitike, 21, only joined PSG in a £24.5million permanent deal this summer after a year on loan with the club last season. He has made 32 appearances for the club so far, scoring four goals.
Just 12 of those games came from the start, however, and he is looking for a club where he can settle after bursting onto the scene at Reims.
He is widely admired in the Premier League, and would provide good competition for either side in the forward areas.

They will however have to rival West Ham, who still have money to spend, for Ekitike’s services.
As reported by Mail Sport on Tuesday, the Hammers will remain in the market for a forward, even after securing the transfer of Mohammed Kudus, with Ekitike, Yuri Alberto and Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri among their targets.
Ounahi, meanwhile, has made 10 appearances for Marseille since joining the French side from Angers in January this year.
He would be the first senior midfielder to sign for Brentford this summer as the Bees look to improve on last season’s ninth-place finish in the Premier League
