Boozy Sunderland v Newcastle mixed fanzone event ‘deserves a live stream’
An all-you-can-drink fanzone is being set up for Newcastle's FA Cup clash with Sunderland and fans are desperate for it to be livestreamed.
The north east clubs will go head to head for the first time since 2016 when they meet at the Stadium of Light next month and supporters of both teams are being invited to a boozy fanzone in Houghton-le-Spring, a town just a few miles south of Sunderland.
For £50, punters can help themselves to as much beer as they like during the game as well as for an hour or so before and after, and for £100 they can spend the entire day in the venue downing pints. Word of the event got out on social media and fans, understandably, reckon it'll be "f***ing carnage".

"All you can drink all day in a mixed fanzone, someone get a live stream of this going, will be f***ing carnage," one X user said. Another added: "This is nuts. Surely the police won't allow this to happen. It'll be a madhouse in there."
A third joked: "I'd gladly pay £100 to go down and watch what will obviously turn into a mass brawl at some point," while a fourth said: "I'll go and get thrown across the fanzone hahaha."
If this mixed fanzone event goes ahead, how many arrests do you think will be made? Let us know in the comments section below.
Sunderland have a strong recent record in the Tyne-Wear derby, with their last defeat in the fixture coming back in 2011. Since then, they've won six and drawn three against the Magpies. The last time they faced each other, Rafa Benitez and Sam Allardyce were in the dugouts while Aleksandar Mitrovic and Jermaine Defoe were the goalscorers.
The seven-and-a-half year wait for a match between the two sides is the longest in nearly 80 years. The last time fans waited longer for a Tyne-Wear derby was the 14-year stretch between 1934 and 1948, though the football league was suspended for seven of those years due to World War 2.
The Black Cats have made a decent start to their Championship campaign and are firmly in hunt for a play-off place after 22 games. Ex-Rangers boss Michael Beale was confirmed as their new manager on Monday, replacing Tony Mowbray who was axed at the start of the month.
Newcastle, meanwhile, are sixth in the Premier League and were agonisingly dumped out of the Champions League last week, but Eddie Howe's side could book their place in the League Cup semi-final with a win over Chelsea on Tuesday, and they remain hot on the tails of the top four rivals in spite of their injury-hit start to the season.
