BBC Sport presenter jokes she’ll ‘lose her job’ after cock-up at Christmas shoot
Popular BBC Sport presenter Emma Jones dropped a clanger at a recent photo-shoot.
Jones has become one of the most popular television personalities having presented for the taxpayer-funded institution, Premier League giants Everton and many more. Usually, Jones, 32, can be found sporting some eye-popping dresses that show off her impressive figure.
While television is where she has made her name, she has also accumulated a large online following by consistently uploading pictures that resonate with her fans. However, she ditched the microphone and the glamorous dresses to become an elf for the afternoon – and the results were rather entertaining.

Jones donned a classic elf costume for a promotional campaign advertising the festive football fixtures. Complete with a little hat and knee high stockings, she looked more than ready to assist Father Christmas in the grotto.
But instead of wrapping presents or assessing the naughty list, Jones was entrusted with doing ball juggling in front of the cameras. Whether it was the outfit or the pressure of performing in front of a few camera operators and directors, it did not go well for Jones.

While doing some keepie-uppies without any trainers or shoes on, Jones' task of keeping the ball in the air immediately looked like a difficult ask. Unfortunately, in a last ditch attempt to regain control, the ball pinged off her foot and flew into the camera operators and directors.
"Oh s*** sorry," Jones said after the ball flew into her colleagues. She swiftly added: "Sorry about that, it's nothing personal."
She also added the caption: "How to lose your job in 10 seconds: Accidentally launch a football at the bosses head."
Fortunately, Jones did not actually lose her job. However, if there were any vague ambitions of one day making it as a footballer in the WSL, then, if her video is anything to go by, Jones' position will remain in front of the camera.
