Horner details sweary Ricciardo rant as Schumacher shuts down new opportunity
Preparations are stepping up this week as the drivers gear up for their first trip to Las Vegas since the 1982 Caesars Palace Grand Prix. This will be the first time that F1 has used this street circuit and the anticipation is already building.
Max Verstappen will be the man to beat when the cars hit the track on the Las Vegas strip having won a remarkable 15 out of the last 16 races, while Sergio Perez will be hoping to see off the threat of Lewis Hamilton in the battle for second place in the Drivers’ Championship.
There is also a battle for fourth in the standings between Fernando Alonso and Lando Norris, while AlphaTauri are hunting down Williams in the Constructor Championship, and the battle between Mercedes and Ferrari rages on. Throw a new circuit into the mix and we are well-set for a weekend to remember.

Horner’s X-rated Ricciardo chat
Christian Horner has revealed that he thought Daniel Ricciardo was joking about the possibility of joining Renault back in his Red Bull days.
Speaking about the events that transpired on the eff won with DRS podcast, Horner said: “Because Daniel’s got a sense of humour, I was convinced he’s taking the p*** here.
“‘You’re not going to Renault, stop f**king about, just tell me when you are going to sign that contract.’ So after about 10 minutes, he finally persuaded me that he was gonna go to Renault and it was disappointing.”
Horner also revealed Ricciardo’s regret over the decision, explaining: “It actually was during the pandemic year, Daniel called me and he said ‘Christian, I hate to say this but you were absolutely right. And I apologise and all that and so on.’”
