Tiger Woods was spotted at his golf course in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico ahead of the PGA Tour’s stop there this week.
The 47-year-old, sporting a pink Nike shirt, a black golf cap, pants and shoes, was seen riding in a golf cart, at the World Wide Technology Championship venue Tuesday afternoon.
El Cardonal at Diamente, which was designed by Woods himself and completed in 2014, hosts the 2023 World Wide Technology Championship beginning on November 2.
Woods is playing host while recovering from a surgery in April. And while the golfing legend and his camp are yet to give a timeline for his recovery, speculations continue to arise regarding his return.
On October 7, fans were teased with a video of the 15-time major winner hitting a wedge shot to a par-3 hole in Pebble Beach.

Speculations escalated further when Woods announced his Hero World Challenge set to begin on November 30 in the Bahamas. When the 20-man field for the tournament was announced, the lineup was one player short. This left fans to wonder if Woods will fill the spot come late November.
Woods was forced to withdraw from The Masters in April after three rounds and hasn’t played professionally since. Before the tournament, Woods admitted to his golfing days being numbered due to injuries.
‘I don’t know how many more I have in me,’ the five-time Masters winner said during a press conference. ‘Just to be able to appreciate the time and cherish the memories.
‘I’m very lucky to have the leg. Mobility and endurance – going forward it will never be the same. I can’t prepare and play as many tournaments as I’d like but that’s ok and I’m ok with it.’
Later in April, Woods also underwent a subtalar fusion procedure to aid post-traumatic arthritis from a talus fracture he suffered in a 2021 car accident.
Aside from the possible return at the Hero World Challenge, Woods and his son Charlie have competed in the last three PNC Championships. The father-and-son tandem could make another appearance at Orlando’s Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in December as they are yet to win the competition, despite coming close.

It is the first year that Woods’ El Cardonal is hosting the WWT Championship after its former venue of 16 years was taken off the PGA Tour’s schedule.
The Tour removed El Camaleon in Mayakoba from the circuit after LIV Golf used the course for its season opener in February.
The World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba made golf history in 2007 when it became the first PGA Tour event to be contested outside of the United States or Canada.
The PGA Tour’s agreement with Mayakoba, which was designed by LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman, ended after 2022.
