Boxing fans were left furious after TNT Sports' coverage of the Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou undercard cut out.

Viewers had to shell out £21.95 to tune into the event in Saudi Arabia. But unfortunately, the coverage of the undercard bouts suddenly went down before 7pm, much to the anger of fans.

The coverage took around half an hour to reappear on TVs all around the UK, but even then viewers experienced the feed continuing to suffer from interruptions, while the sound also dropped out. Unsurprisingly, this resulted in a barrage of angry boxing fans releasing their frustrations on social media.

"If I miss the undercard, I want my money back," commented one angry viewer. "Over 20 minutes it's been off for f*** sake. Sort it out," wrote a second.

A third added: "£22 and it doesn't even work, shambles," before a fourth asked, "Who do I speak to about getting my money back?"

"First no picture, they get it back up and say 'yup sorry won't happen again', and 30 seconds later the sound goes," a fifth tweeted. The tidal wave of complaints came on X, formerly known as Twitter, after the TNT Sports social media account uploaded a video of seats reserved for big names in sport such as former Liverpool forwards Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane, the broadcaster's pundit Rio Ferdinand, and UFC legend Conor McGregor.

It was not what fans wanted to see when they'd been staring at a screen which read: "We apologise for the break in transmission and hope to correct the fault shortly", along with a loud piercing sound.

Many fans expressed concern about the prospect of the coverage not showing properly in time for the main event. The boxing extravaganza has already seen Martin Bakole stop Carlos Takam in the fourth round.

The Scottish based fighter, who is widely regarded as the most avoided heavyweight in boxing, cut Takam down to size with a series of body shots and hooks to the face. The referee intervened and stopped the contest early.
