Tyson Fury back on the school run as he celebrates win with five-tier cake
Tyson Fury returned to reality this week as he did the school run just days after his win over Deontay Wilder .
The newly-crowned heavyweight world champion touched down in Manchester on Tuesday and on Friday posted a video of himself taking his kids to school.
Fury did however find time to celebrate with his wife Paris as they tucked into a stunning five-tier cake which features a crown, a globe and the fighter's newly-won WBC belt.
Posting the video, Fury said: "Back to reality, just done the school run and I’m just gonna go to the gym now and enjoy my morning.
"Have a fantastic day people, all the best, God bless."
Fury received a warm welcome when he returned to the UK, in stark contrast to the one which greeted him in 2015 after his win over Wladimir Klitschko.
Then he was something of a pariah after airing his homophobic and sexist views, but he is already favourite for this year's Sports Personality of the Year award.
And his promoter Frank Warren told talkSPORT : "I was thrilled when I saw the reception Tyson received as he arrived back at Manchester Airport. It’s great to see him finally getting the long overdue credit he deserves.
"He’s had the invite from Donald Trump to go to the White House and also had one to go and see the Pope.
"You would think they will do something for him back home and he deserves some form of honour or recognition.
"Just look at where he’s come from and how he’s totally turned his life around. That in itself he deserves a medal for. Let alone inspiring other people to do the same thing and helping those with mental health problems."
Fury's home life has been featured heavily in an ITV documentary, the final part of which will air next Thursday.
And Paris has been a constant by his side as he recovered from a three-year drink and drug-fuelled depression following his win over Klitschko.
"My happiness is very dependent on my wife," Fury told the documentary. "Because if I go back to being an idiot again, or back to that low place where I don't want to go, then I won't recover this time. I'll definitely die."
