TNT Sports’ coverage of Tyson Fury’s huge crossover clash with Francis Ngannou has gone down 40 minutes into the show.
The much-hyped rights of the contest were snapped up by the box-fresh broadcaster and have seen scores of fans pay £21.95 to watch the full undercard as well as the banner fight.
But the programming descended into chaos minutes after going live from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The coverage remains down, with an ‘end of programme’ message playing on a loop in an embarrassing turn of events for the fledgling broadcaster.
Fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to vent their frustration with the coverage, with many furious that they are unable to follow the fights as planned.
TNT Sports were unable to show live coverage of the fights in Saudi Arabia after just 40 minutes of programming
‘TNT/BT lost coverage again,’ posted one boxing fan. ‘This fight is going to be a disaster’.
Another added: ‘TNT are an utter shambles. Eddie laughing all the way to the bank.’
A third chimed in: ‘It seems paying for #furyvsngannou was a mistake. There’s a reason it’s called #TNTSports. Like TNT, it’s bloody unstable’.
TNT Sports are yet to issue an explanation as to why the channel has gone down
The undercard has already seen Jack McGann brutally knock out the son of boxing legend Robert Duran, Robert Duran Jnr, in round two.
Martin Bakole then bested Carlos Takam by technical knockout decision.
