The Ultimate Fighter live stream, TV channel and how to watch McGregor’s return
Conor McGregor says that his comeback fight with Michael Chandler will be announced during this season of TUF
The Ultimate Fighter is returning for its 31st season and it will see the return of Conor McGregor to the UFC, where he is expected to face rival coach Michael Chandler at its conclusion. The new season will see former UFC fighters, who were cut after struggling, face off against newcomers.
Both bantamweights and lightweights will be vying for spots and the 155lb category is of particular interest to McGregor and Chandler, as both were world champions in that weight class. A more concrete map for McGregor vs Chandler is expected to be announced at some point during the season, with a date and venue to be revealed.
It is not McGregor’s first rodeo in The Ultimate Fighter, having been a coach in the 2015 series against Urijah Faber. Express Sport has everything you need to know about the return of The Ultimate Fighter.

“I’m looking forward to it. I feel good, I feel energetic, I feel ready,” McGregor said. “I’m throwing up my high kicks faster than I’m throwing out my jab. So I’m very excited to get back… Year end, I’m back in that cage having competed. I’m gearing up ready to go. Michael Chandler, yeah. It will be announced during The Ultimate Fighter. So The Ultimate Fighter is airing now in a couple of days on ESPN, and by the time that show finishes we’ll have a date and everything set for the fans.”
Chandler said: “I got eight heartbeats on my team. Eight athletes who I have the opportunity and the blessing to coach and I’m not going to take it lightly. Some who get their one last shot to make it into the UFC and some who have been looking at the bright lights from afar and now they get their opportunity. This is on ESPN the network for twelve episodes straight.”
