Jake Paul fired a shot at Dillon Danis over a ‘staged’ face-off with KSI at the Misfits Boxing weigh-in. On Friday, Danis attacked KSI and found himself on the receiving end of a punch from Paul’s sparring partner Anthony Taylor.

MMA fighter Danis was in Austin, Texas amid reports he could be KSI’s next opponent. During a stare down with KSI, he threw a punch at the YouTuber which led to carnage on stage.

Danis was quickly escorted away from the clash, but was followed by Taylor. The ex-Bellator lightweight goaded Danis and punched the American, sending him stumbling.

Taylor has been pushing for a fight of his own with KSI, and felt Danis crossed the line during the staredown. However, Paul doesn’t appear to think the clash was genuine and took to social media to suggest it was fabricated to build anticipation for the fight.

The American – who has 4.5 million followers – wrote: “Nothing worse than a staged run in with coffee being thrown and then you go outside and get your ass whooped by some real ones.”

Paul took to TikTok to call out the actions of the three personalities, filming himself saying: “Alright, TikTok. While KSI, and Dillon Danis, and Anthony Taylor are punching the s*** out of each other, I’m here enjoying nature. At peace within myself.

“Don’t use violence, kids. Thank you.”

After Danis was clocked by Taylor, Misfits headliner Deen The Great joked that the 29-year-old looked like he was doing the infamous ‘Bobby Shmurda’ dance. Hasim Rahman Jr – who faces Greg Hardy in the co-main event – confirmed that he had seen the clash and saw punches thrown.

Danis is yet to fought in the MMA cage since 2019 and is currently 2-0 as a professional. He has feuded with KSI as well as both Paul brothers, Jake and Logan, in the past while he is best known for being a training partner and close confidant of UFC legend Conor McGregor since the pair teamed up in 2016.

Meanwhile, Paul has reportedly agreed to fight Tommy Fury in his next boxing clash. The duo – who are both undefeated with the Brit at 8-0 while Paul is 6-0 after defeating UFC icon Anderson Silva – have been scheduled to clash in the past before, in December 2021 and earlier this summer, but Fury was forced to pull out of both bouts.
