Ebanie Bridges’ boxing pal is glam television host trying to make it as a pro
Ebanie Bridges may have some competition heading her way in the battle to be Australia's best female boxer.
The Blonde Bomber is set to return to the ring in December when she takes on Aussie rival Avril Mathie, with Bridges claiming on social media she can't "wait to smash your [Mathie's] pretty face in." However, Bridges does have one fellow female Aussie fighter in her corner in the form of amateur boxer Monique Bovino.
Bovino, who also works in Australia as a TV and Radio traffic reporter, was snapped earlier this year at the OVO Arena Wembley alongside Bridges, with the two blondes smiling while posing for a photo. Bovino captioned the post: "Ringside in London … Missed my girl @ebanie_bridges".

Naturally, Bridges was quick to repay the compliment to Bovino, who has amassed an Instagram following of 16,000 fans. Bridges replied: "Loved seeing u! Missed you and so proud of you."
And it's clear to see that fans of the pair seemed to enjoy their interaction on social media. Fellow amateur fighter Tasha Flint commented: "Hotties with hands," which prompted Bovino to reply: "Love you."

At the moment, Bovino is part of the Barotillo Bombers Boxing Team, which is boxing gym in North Rocks, New South Wales. While she trains hard, showing off her some of her sessions on Instagram from time to time, last year Bovino took up a job full-time as a reporter for the Australian Traffic Network.

"After a big year at Australian radio network, I have decided to move onto the next step in my media journey… and have now joined Australian traffic network, as a full time reporter & announcer," Bovino told her followers last year. "Super grateful for those who trained me along the way, and I am really grateful to have met all the amazing people I work with!
She added: "Unfortunately, with my new work hours, the amount I fight will be reduced, which has been so difficult. My trainings will now be limited to short hours of the mornings, I’m going to try my best and keep up with fighting.. one step at a time.
