Anthonique Strachan was just trying to relax after her 200m semi-final sprint when she was forced out of her seat after being shocked by Youhuu, the World Athletics Championship mascot.
The Bahamian sprinter finished up her semi-final race finishing third with a time of 22.30, which allowed her to book her spot in the Women's 200m final on Friday.
Entering the q room to sit down following her sprint, Strachan looked to be just trying to relax at the National Athletics Centre when she was given the fright of her life.
Unbeknownst to her, Youhuu was hidden behind the sofa she had sat down on. So when she saw the huge mascot, who is supposed to be a native Hungarian racka sheep, Strachan panicked, jumping out of her seat like she was on the starting blocks before a race.
