Rugby star Stuart Hogg ‘splits from wife and goes to spa with sexiest jockey’

Former Scotland skipper Stuart Hogg has reportedly split with his wife and been away on a spa weekend with the 'world's sexiest jockey', Leonna Mayor, just days after ex Gillian gave birth to their fourth child.

In a surprising pre-Rugby World Cup move, Hogg, who made 100 appearances for Scotland, opted to retire prior to the showcase tournament in France which was eventually won by South Africa at the Stade de France. He had been playing for Premiership Rugby side Exeter Chiefs, but decided to hang up his boots at the end of the 2022/23 season.

Previously, Hogg had been married to wife Gillian since 2016, but the pair have split up. And recently, the 31-year-old was snapped on the Instagram story of ex-jockey turned pundit Leonna Mayor enjoying a spa weekend.

Taking to her Instagram, Mayor wrote: "The least Mondayest Monday ever", with her and Hogg pictured smiling as they enjoyed each others company. They were also reportedly spotted being amorous in a Hawick pub, with Hogg also said to have already introduced Mayor to his parents.

Just days prior, Gillian, uploaded a photo to her Instagram account with a picture of their new born daughter Phoebe.

She captioned her post: "P H O E B E A N N E. Born 07/11/23 at 12.09 weighing a dinky 5lb3. The final piece to my little family. Archie, Olivia and George are all chuffed to bits with their baby sister, we love you baby girl." And of course, there was no mention of Hogg either in her loving post.

A source told The Sun: “Gillian is heartbroken. How much does one woman have to take? The last thing any new mum would want is to see the father of her children flaunting his new relationship on social media.”

During her racing career, Mayor won 32 races between 2009 and 2013, but she eventually had to retire due to an ankle injury. Nowadays, Mayor, who was labbelled the 'world's sexiest jockey' by Zoo magazine back in 2013, works as a pundit, notably for ITV Racing.

Hogg’s representatives were approached by Daily Star Sport for comment.
