England RWC star attended same £30,000-a-year school as Oppenheimer director
England Rugby World Cup hooker Jamie George attended a £30,000-a-year school where Oppenheimer director Christopher Nolan and famous sports stars attended.
George, 32, started both of England’s opening Rugby World Cup wins against Argentina and Japan but looks set to wait for his 80th international cap for the Red and Whites with him to be handed a rest against Chile on Saturday.
The Saracens ace followed in the footsteps of previous pupils at Haileybury and Imperial Service College in Hertfordshire to make a name for himself in the sporting world.

The private school boasts an extended list of former sporting stars alongside former Prime Minister Clement Atlee and film director Nolan. Nolan attended the college before studying English Literature at University College London and beginning his way in the directing world.
Nolan’s filmography, which boasts award-winning films such as Inception, Interstellar, Dunkirk and The Dark Knight, was added to by World War II thriller Oppenheimer starring Cillian Murphy. Centred on American physicist Robert Oppenheimer's role in the Manhattan Project, a film that is closing in on $1billion grossing worldwide.

George isn’t the only Saracens hero to have studied at the college, after US international Chris Wyles, who played for Sarries between 2008 and 2018 previously attended after moving to England when he was 11 years old. Fellow pupils also include Kent and England wicket-keeper-batsman Sam Billings, McLaren F1 superstar Oscar Piastri and British racing royalty Sir Sterling Moss.
England's rugby team will be aiming for glory in France, with Umbro supplying their kits for the tournament. It is the first time that the supplier have been handed the chance to produce the kits, with a traditional white home shirt emblazoned with the iconic red rose.

Steve Borthwick is expected to shuffle the pack against Chile after England won their opening and toughest two group stage games to put them on track for a quarter-final place. A rotated side sees Owen Farrell available following suspension and he returns to take the armband in place of George Ford.
