ACC Tournament bracket: Full TV schedule, scores, results for 2020 basketball tournament

For the first time in school history, Florida State will be the top seed of the ACC Tournament.

The Seminoles (26-5, 16-4 in ACC play) earned the top seed in the men’s basketball tournament on Sunday thanks to their conference-best 16-4 record in ACC play, avoiding the logjam with Virginia, Duke and Louisville behind them. Now it’s on Devin Vassell (12.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists per game), Trent Forrest (11.8 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 4.1 apg) and M.J. Walker (10.8 ppg, 1.7 rpb, 1.4 apg) to lead FSU to only the school’s second ACC Tournament championship in program history.

ACC Tournament bracket 2020

Florida State earned the overall No. 1 seed in the 2020 ACC Tournament, followed by Virginia, Louisville and Duke as the Nos. 2-4 seeds, respectively. Those are the only teams in Ryan Fagan’s latest March Madness predictions that are projected to make the NCAA Tournament — meaning every other team will be fighting for its postseason life.

(Note: Georgia Tech, dealt a postseason ban by the NCAA in September, has withdrawn its appeal to compete in the postseason. It will not play in the 2020 ACC Tournament).
